Background

Elizabeth is a native of Fort Worth and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1997.  She attended law school at Baylor University and graduated from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 2000.  After law school, she worked at the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office as an Assistant Criminal District Attorney for about four years before joining her father, Richard L. Bourland, as an associate at Bourland & Kirkman, LLP.   In 2014, they both joined Griffith, Jay & Michel, LLP as of counsel.  Elizabeth’s practice focuses primarily on commercial litigation.
